Who said learning was not valuable?

Background

Up till now, many CCPE awards have focused on either your marks or how many courses you have completed. None of these being necessarily correlated with one’s level of competency.

We have created in 2008 for the first time an award to reward outstanding performance and nurture transfer of learning in the professional area. This recognition is reserved to people (candidate and their supervisor) that will be willing to document what has been the impact of their CCPE learning experience

Incentive

To encourage participants to apply the learning from CCPE programs the following incentives will be handed out:

  1. $600 will be awarded to 5 selected candidates
  2. $300 to their respective supervisor for submitting the attached form

Criteria

Eligible participants must

  • Have been employed by a CCPE member company since the time of last program registration
  • Have completed or about to complete 3 CCPE courses at the time of submission (June of each year)
  • Have been in their current role for 2 years

Selection

From the eligible participants, the five best testimonials will be selected by members of CCPE board of Directors.

  • Only submissions received by June 1, 2008 and forwarded by the candidate’s supervisor will be considered for the June to May period
  • Only the objective nature of the testimonials received will be considered in the selection process
  • The five selected participants will be invited to attend the Rx&D Annual General Meeting to receive their price in November of each year (conditional to your employer’s approval)
  • The selected participants will have their story published in CCPE Link publication and CCPE web site
