CCPE’s Flexible Management Training Programs
now available in French

Background

Did you know that over 25% of Canadian pharmaceutical organizations don’t offer any form of training to their Sales Managers? Did you know that fewer than 50% have a formal initial training program and fewer than 25% have a structured development program for high potential candidates?(1)

It isn’t any more encouraging for Brand Managers. Over 75% of Canadian pharmaceutical organizations don’t offer any form of training to their Brand Managers. Fewer than 17% have a formal initial training program and even fewer offer development programs as Brand Managers gain more experience(1).

Benchmark

When beginning a new managerial position, most people look to large training companies that offer management courses to the public:

  • Duration: 3 – 5 days
  • Cost: $2,000 – $3,000 plus housing and transportation
  • No formal evaluation
  • Not always specific to the pharmaceutical environment
  • Learning retention is usually less than 20%(2)
